Sonya Mehta is the founder of Metamorphosis Consulting LLC, a collaborative focused on guiding mission-driven organizations toward transformational change and deeper impact. She is also the Director of Partnerships for The Embrace, Holistic Underground’s new organizational incubator focused on Equity & Belonging. Over the last 10 years, she has held a range of leadership roles in mission-driven social impact organizations. She has navigated complex organizational dynamics with an equity lens, and has worked to increase community voice and collective buy-in across her endeavors. Sonya loves working with teams to identify their key goals and what is getting in the way of their ongoing success, then using coaching and strategic thought partnership to help advance them on their journey. Sonya spent three years working as Managing Director of The Teaching Well, a nonprofit focused on increasing organizational health and wellbeing at public schools across the nation. Her team combined data, feedback, and artful coaching to create more equitable outcomes for students and teachers, and healthier school communities. She now consults with and coaches organizational leaders across a variety of sectors, always with a focus for healing and transformation. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new trails with her dog and hosting community gatherings.
