Rafael is a seasoned digital product innovator and leader. He has founded three companies and led design and commercialization efforts for 20 digital products for multinational and early-stage companies across financial services, farming and digital health sectors -- including a disruptive global digital platform he scaled to $70 million at ProducePay.com as SVP, Head of Product & Marketing. He has held leadership positions with multinational companies such as Toyota and Citibank as well as multiple startup organizations including his own AgeTech startup. Healthcare corporate experience includes leading innovation efforts at Conifer Health / Tenet Healthcare, AccessHope / City of Hope Cancer Institute. He advises on Design Thinking at University of California Riverside, on startup product development for AgeTech, MedTech and AgeTech startups through Silvermoonshots accelerator and Founder Institute's Healthcare cohort. He holds an MBA, BS and multiple digital health, health tech and patient experience certifications from LMU, Columbia University and HIMSS. He passion is working with hospital and health tech organizations to design, build and launch digital products that delight, add value and close healthcare disparities.
