Born in lower Delaware and raised in Maryland, Jasmine brings over 15 years of experience in business operations, human resources, budgeting, bookkeeping and meeting/event planning. She applies her insight and skills to collaborate with artists, educators, entrepreneurs, start-ups, non-profits, and small businesses to streamline their operations, staffing, and bookkeeping practices. Ensuring the organizational mission is enhanced, Jasmine is an experienced facilitator and has crafted and led retreats and workshops in racial identity, equity and media representation. In 2016, she was the Associate Producer to the Tribeca Film Festival’s animated short selection Fear curated by Whoopi Goldberg. Jasmine is a 2019 Next Doc Visiting Fellow a program designed by Youth FX and Next Doc , “to deepen the dialogue within the intersections of filmmaking, funding and programming”. She is a momma bear to three dynamic little girls and spends the rest of her time advocating for their educational needs and empowering other African American parents to do the same.
