Born in New Orleans, Louisiana to a family of carpenters and musicians, her love for building and entrepreneurship drove her to study Mechanical Engineering and Physics at L.S.U. and The Southern University A&M in Baton Rouge, LA. There she focused on entrepreneurship for engineers and physics. Since 2010, she has been focused on driving growth by implementing automation in small businesses. Avercom Virtual Solutions is an Information Technology Consulting and Design Company whose focus is a digital conversion using customer data, monetizing via social media, and advocating for more black women's participation in the government & corporate contracting space. In 2021, Nielle was awarded by JP Morgan Chase and Digital Undivided. Avercom is also certified Minority Business Enterprise by SCMSDC, Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business by the U.S. Small Business Administration, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise by Metro, and U.S. DOT and service clients all over the globe. In 2022 she was awarded a community grant from IKEA and GLAAACC (Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce). Nielle believes that “Having a website is like having a boutique in the middle of the desert. If you don’t drive traffic, no one will know that you’re there.” She is passionate about furthering the advancement of girls in STEM and Women in Tech and lives the “Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler!” motto.
