Melissa Ramsey is a Data Scientist, self-proclaimed MUSICpreneur, and Indie Boss. In 2014, she founded her firm, Assilem Media.   Melissa began her MUSICpreneurship journey in 2011 with her first studio project, The LadyGun EP. When she released the project, she toured the country and then relocated to Los Angeles where she founded Assilem Media as a consultancy for MSUICprenuers. After realizing success with Melrose boutiques and celebrity fashion designers, she moved her operations to offices in the 18th & Vine Jazz District in the Historic Lincoln Building in her hometown of Kansas City, Missouri to provide businesses with what they need the most which is the ability to make data-informed decisions for their businesses. After 3 years of working in PR, Branding, and Design, she lent her creative data approach to the revitalization and rebranding of the Mutual Musicians' Foundation, the oldest Jazz House in the world! To date, she's contributed to brand campaigns for the likes of Meta, GoDaddy, The Missouri Arts Council, 18th & Vine Jazz District First Fridays, and International Jazz Day. Melissa is an award-winning philanthropist, artist, and creative.  She resides in the heart of the Midwest with her two beautiful sons, Myles (16) & Kendall (17). Assilem Media exists to act as a storyteller for brands on and offline.
