Kelly Thibault (she/her) is currently an executive director at a small non-profit. In her role she oversees all aspects of the company, manages one team member, and runs a semi-annual conference focused on gender diversity in cybersecurity. Before her current role, she led Learning & Development for Engineering, Product, & Design at Opendoor. Prior to tech, she spent 12 years in higher education administration, managing program management, risk management, operations, events, compliance, DEI, HR, leadership, & IT support. Her love of technology & innovation was part of her desire to change industries. She is on a mission to embrace her generalist background as a strength & work on projects & initiatives with a positive customer impact. Kelly is also the Chapter Head of Out in Tech - San Francisco. She finds professional joy in creating more equitable & inclusive environments, leading teams, building programs, public speaking, & influencing change. She geeks out about learning something & improving efficiency & organization.
