I have worked in the Consulting and Healthcare industry for more than 20 years, gaining experience in Finance, Managed Care Consulting, Systems Implementation and International Health. In addition to my Healthcare experience, I have several years in the Oil and Gas industry as a Senior IT Management Consultant providing Project Management and Business Systems Analysis for large Global projects. In both industries, I have had the opportunity to work internationally, as that has been the goal of my career since obtaining a Master’s Degree from Tulane University. My first international assignment was with The World Health Organization- European Office, working as an International Health Policy Advisor in the country of Albania. During my short-term post in the city of Tirana, I worked closed with Non-Governmental Organizations(NGOs) to develop budget monitoring systems to manage international donor funds for small projects. I was also involved with working with the country’s political leadership for the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance to develop programs for health insurance schemes and management of payments for Primary Care services. Within the Oil and Gas sector, I had the opportunity to work in Singapore, Canada and Kazakhstan as a Senior IT management professional, delivering in all phases of Project Management for Global IT Projects. With a Healthcare background, I was able to leverage my experience and knowledge for Health Safety and Environment (HSE) while delivering Business Analysis and Project management for multiple IT projects focused on compliance with environmental safety regulations for personnel.
